The front panel of the Iris series is made from a curved solid aluminium and the case is also made of Aluminium. The control knobs are made of brass. The non-iron chassis is not affected by magnetism which results in a clear and transparent sound.
Self-biasing circuit.
The self-biasing circuit is employed in the output stage to supply a stale current for a long time. Bias adjustment also is not required when replacing the output tubes.
The origin of the name of“Iris”series.
There were many fights in the past between Samurais in the area where Musica factory is located, and this is the reason why there many old castle ruins in the area.
“Sone-jou”castle (built in 1560) is one of them, and the ruin is now famous for a pond of about 1 acre where 16000 irises are planted.
