These cables pass digital and video signals without deterioration or loss by utilizing 5N (99.9995%) Pure SILVER in a center conductor. The three layer shield protects the signal from external noise, and transmits a pure signal. FTVS-510 cable is suitable for audio and video (75O) applications. DR-510 digital cables are made from the highest quality materials available.

Pure Silver Conductor

5N (99.9995%) pure SILVER is used for the central conductor.  Manufacturing the cable alone consists of 19 separate processes. including continuous casting, cold rolling and annealing within two degree tolerances . The use of diamond dies insures there are no spaces in the skin grain boundaries.

S emiconductor Layer

The semiconductor layer (around the center conductor) is charged with by static electricity and has a bad influence on the signal. Oyaide solves this problem by utilizing 0.2mm TEFLON as a semiconductor layer to absorb and discharge static electricity.

Insulation

FPE (Foamed polyethylene) is used. In addition to being an ultra low dielectric insulator, it also damps vibration. The FPE insulation has optimal electric characteristics and reduces the negative effects of resonance.

2-Layer Shield

A two-layer shield structure is utilized. The COPPER shield blocks low frequency RFI/EMI noise and the SILVER PLATED COPPER shield blocks high frequency RFI/EMI noise. Together, the two shields block wide band noise.

Outer Jacket

The outer polyurethane jacket is resistant to ultraviolet light.

Connectors

Oyaide considers the connectors as an integral part of the cable system and designs and manufactures the connectors to match the requirements of the cable. The connector should improve electric conductivity of the cable and contact in the plug . The DR-510 interconnect achieves perfect pure silver transmission by utilizing the SLSC (RCA) Pure SILVER connectors.
