How did Huygens Audio come about?

I was contacted on skype two years ago by a Chinese designer called Fumac, he asked if I would like to try one of his prototype amplifiers the MCD1002. Why not I thought, what’s there to lose. A few weeks later the little MCD1002 arrived at eden audio. To compare it I had the Trends Audio TA10, the Huygens totally blew it away, something clicked, the amp was far from perfect, but although not perfect I could hear the potential waiting to be let out.

We spoke and decided to take it further, soon after the VI version of the MCD module was released, this sounded even better, better balanced, it was a very simple design, but yet again I heard a dragon in the waiting to be unleashed, the sound was very mature, refined, just lacking in imaging and guts.

Fumac was also working on another module, a more advanced version of the MCD module, the Mhz power module, this module under went a 2 year R&D process, we had a simple goal in mind, and that was to make what we felt to be the best class D amplifier in the world.

Late in 2008 Mhz power 2 and Mhz power 4 were born, these are state of the art class D mono block amplifiers that we truly believe set new standards, and upon hearing these truly outstanding amplifiers I was shocked at the amount of detail they pull out of the disc, they are just so transparent and demanding on speakers used, we have been impressed with the Kudos C30, our amps are batting in this league and upwards.

All Huygens Audio amplifiers are designed by us, we own MCD and MHz modules, our amplifiers are hand mand by Fumac, not in a factory, we control everything from start to finish.

Bold claims from an unknown name, but once heard we are positive you would agree that the Huygens Audio class D MHZ power amplifiers are quite remarkable works of sonic art.
