Acoustic Revive RR-777 - Low Frequency pulse Generator
When
it comes to creativity Acoustic Revive certainly are number 1 when
it comes to unusual ideas to get a better sound from your HiFi.
Normally us Audiophiles and music lovers try products that attach
to our hifi, be it cables or whatever, but Acoustic revive with their
ultra low frequency pulse generator have come up with a completely
novel idea
.
The Acoustic Revive RR-777ultra-low frequency pulse generator is small plastic stand-alone active
device that plugs into a wall outlet there is no direct at all to
your hifi system.
The Acoustic Revive RR-777 generates a 7.83Hz Schumann frequency
pulse that 'shields' your HiFi electronics and listening room from
radio frequency interference and thereby improves the S/N ratio so
the electronics perform better, this results in a beautifully focused
soundstage, the soundstage improves in quality with the Acoustic
Revive RR-77 in place.
The Acoustic Revive RR-777 ultra-low frequency
pulse generator has "Wonderful effects of improving sound and
picture quality!... The Acoustic Revive RR-777 is used in
the recording and mastering studios of major record companies."
The Acoustic Revive RR-777 Schumann pulse generator is about
the size of an outboard hard drive for a computer and plugs into a
wall outlet. The Acoustic Revive RR-777 is nicely made and its light
weight is due to a plastic chassis containing a single circuit board.
The chassis is finished in an attractive silver or now Black finishes
with contrasting gold lettering with the name Acoustic Revive. There
is a power switch on the back and a blue LED illuminates to indicate
when the Acoustic Revive RR-777 is on and working.
What is the Schumann Resonance the Acoustic Revive RR-777 recreates?
The fundamental frequency of the Schumann resonance is roughly the fundamental frequency of a spherical shell whose inside boundary is the surface of the Earth and whose outside boundary is the ionosphere, acting as a spherical shell electromagnetic wave guide cavity. The fundamental frequency ought to be roughly the time it takes electromagnetic radiation to go all the way around the spherical shell.
Since the speed of light is about 300,000 km/sec.,
and one cycle is the circumference
of the Earth, which is about 40,000 km/cycle,
the fundamental frequency should be on the order of:
300,000 km/sec
_____________________= 7.5 cycle/sec
40,0000 km/cycle
A cycle/sec is just a Hz, so that 7.5 cycle/sec is 7.5 Hz.
The Schumann Resonance's are actually observed
by experiment to occur at several frequencies between 6 and 50 cycles
per second; specifically 7.8, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz, with
a daily variation of about +/- 0.5 Hertz.
The 7.8 Hz observed fundamental resonance is close to the rough theoretical
estimate of 7.5 Hz.
Scientists have also discovered
that the Schumann Resonance mentioned above, are an essential ingredient
of life. It is a natural occurrence. This electro magnetic field has
always been there right from the moment when the earth formed. The
resonance is said to be essential to the proper functioning of the
human brain. (It has an effect on the Alpha waves produced in the
brain.) But what is happening though is that in industrial regions,
plus large cities and highly populated zones, this electro magnetic
field is generally disturbed, obstructed, is weak, or it may be missing
and does not occur in one's existence. This impairs the well being
of everything inhabiting in that region, be it human, animal or plant.
It is said that the absence of the Schumann resonance could even make
you ill. So it is important.
Acoustic Revive RR-777-How to use
The
Acoustic Revive RR-77 is a very small light weight hard plastic box
that you can put behind your speakers, but you can also place it in
other posistions in your room, so it is best to experiment to gain
to most satisfying results.
It comes supplied with its own power supply and short cord. It only
measures 14 x 16 x 4 cm (W x D x H) and weighs 200 gr. The power consumption
is 2 Watt and the generator runs on 12 Volt DC. It is a type of wave
generater that puts into the room a subsonic frequency that either
effects how you hear the system in the room or somehow effects the
acoustic of the room it self.
The RR-77 is very easy to use, in fact it's just plug in a play, you
don't feel anything, you won't even notice it's presence, but you
will certainly notice its sonic effects on your listening experience.
Eden Audio suggest you place the Acoustic Revive RR-777 at a height
of approx 150CM for the unit to to be most effective, you can also
experiment with positioning, but we've found we get
the best results by placing the RR-777 in between our main stereo speakers,
but as usual experimenting is the key, have fun.
