The Musica Iris is a new range of amplifiers from Musica. This time though Musica have taken a slightly different direction. For the first time Musica of Japan have developed their first range of valve amplifiers.
"Iris” series is Musica’s first fully tube based power amplifiers. Many audio lovers claim that the sound produced by tube amps is powerful and warm, but the negatives are less speed and the frequency is restricted.
“Iris” series amp was designed with up-to-date circuits with up-to-date electronic components, as musica considered a vacuum tube as the best amplification element to enjoy up-to-date music, but not a old fashioned type of sound where the treble and bass are cut off.
The new range consists of Integrated's, pre amplifiers and power amplifier. The styling of the new range looks stunning, we are most impressed.
non-iron chassis
The front panel is made from a curved solid aluminum and the case is also made of Aluminum. The knobs are made of brass. The non-iron chassis is not affected by magnetism and creates clear and transparent sound.
Self-biasing circuit.
The self-biasing circuit is employed in the output stage to supply a stable current for a long time.Bias adjustment also is not required when replacing the output tubes.
