The D series is from Perfectsounds reference range, easily identifiable by their logo, a lime Green spider. It's eight feet are perfectly balanced which represents the beautifully balanced a controlled sound of the D series.
Green when seen by the eye is a colour that calms the senses and soothes the soul.
Every thing about these headphones is exquisite, from the luxurious design through to the beautiful sound reproduction, they produce a very high quality balanced sound that doesn't over emphasize certain frequencies, a sound that will relax you and brighten up your day.
The range consists of two colours, you have a choice of either Black or White. The sound has a beautiful rich warmth to it, which enables you to listen to them for hours on end, bass is deep and powerful, midrange is lush and the treble is oh so sweet.
The Dido D901 headphones come with a detachable cable in a hard, black box with great padding and a headphone stand.

We must admit when we first saw these new earphones we wasn't quite sure what to make of them, clearly they were designed 
for a younger generation of buyers because it was quite unusual to see an earphone that was so attention grabbing by the way they looked.

But was it to be style over substance? happily we can report that the Perfectsound S101 sound really crisp and open, upon listening we found they sounded very lively and detailed with great snap and openness.
